A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer fulfill the needs of your web site, or when you undergo frequent network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the help desk support team to get back to you, it may be a good idea to swap your web hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your sites together with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. That is why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly knowledgeable technical team members will migrate your website content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our techs have got lots of experience migrating web sites and are able to take care of anything – from a normal WordPress blog or Joomla^™–based website, to an extremely complex, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, since there are many factors, including the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not very large).

A: We do not gather any information that is personal. We will require, though, the login info for your old web hosting account as well as the name of the site that you wish to transfer.

A: In order for us to start the migration of your hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose practically the same info you have provided to your present web hosting provider. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal data is tackled.

A: While we migrate your web site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. Once the migration is completed, we’ll make sure that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to notifying you that the transfer is over. After that, we’ll explain to you how to transfer the domain name to your web hosting account with us and how to update the DNS resource records.

A: Nope. Apart from your login details for the Control Panel, we will not require anything. We’ll never contact your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We can transfer your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform so long as we can receive access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only websites that we can’t transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
